PSALM 23:1 – The Real Meaning
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
Most people quote it…
but few understand how powerful it really is in Hebrew.
YHWH — the Covenant God —
personally feeds me, leads me, protects me,
and takes full responsibility for my life.
That’s why I shall not want.
Not because my circumstances are perfect,
but because my Shepherd is perfect.
Lack doesn’t start with a bad situation.
It starts when I step outside His care.
The Lord is MY Shepherd —
therefore I am not in lack.
